Nearly 8 years ago I brought my German Shepherd puppy in to Shaffer Animal Hospital to see Dr. Gerrish and I have been bringing her to Shaffer ever since. From day one, Dr. Gerrish and the Shaffer staff treated my pup as if she were their own, loving on her to make sure her vet experience was positive (Mallie would wait with her nose pressed to the door to the back until Dr. Gerrish would come in). Now, they treat both of my German Shepherds and I would not bring them anywhere else. Money can’t buy the compassion and love they show for my animals and the care they provide is top notch. Shaffer is the ABSOLUTE best EVER!!! They truly love my babies Kimber and Kane! They are ALWAYS there for us when we need them and we have some high maintenance furbabies! Shaffer is by far the best animal hospital around. Everyone, from the veterinarians to the front desk, are caring. They go above and beyond. Early last year, my dog had a questionable polyp. Dr. Patel was able to refer me to a specialist who removed it, and it turned out to be cancerous. All my follow up visits have been at Shaffer, every 3 months. Dr Patel takes her time to give Sully a thorough exam and she is extremely gentle and caring with him. He is not afraid to come to the vet’s office because they give him lots of love (and treats) to comfort him. My dog is my family and I wouldn’t trust him with anyone else..
